Caleb watches Luke, taking in the intense feeling of missing he feels, so abruptly that Caleb marvels he hasn't doubled over with it. He's about to ask about it, but then Bopp spots them, and Luke is tending to her, mood rising up again like a balloon.

Caleb smiles, small and grateful, at the dog, but then grins at Luke.

"She's just making sure you didn't leave anything behind after breakfast," he teases.
